iglidur® M210 | Thick-walled for medium loads
iglidur M210 was specially developed for use in the medium load range with pivoting loads. In addition, developers made sure that the material was particularly suitable for injection-moulded thick-walled bearings. This makes iglidur M210 ideal for applications in which robust thick-walled sockets are to be used or replaced.

Tolerances and measuring system
The installation dimensions and tolerances of the iglidur® plain bearings depend on the material and wall thickness. Moisture absorption and thermal expansion are decisive for the material. Plain bearings with low moisture absorption can be installed with small bearing clearance. The following applies to the wall thickness: the thicker the bearings, the greater the bearing clearance must be.
Test procedure

Installation
iglidur® plain bearings are press-fit bearings. The inner diameter is set with the corresponding tolerance only after it is pressed into the housing bore. The press-fit interference can be up to 2% of the inner diameter. This ensures a secure press fit of the bearings. Axial or radial displacements in the housing are thus reliably avoided.
